3期に亘り、東ティモールの車検制度を支える検査員を養成
東ティモール自動車検査の現在
世界では、さまざまな車検制度がある一方、全く車検を行わない国もあります。東ティモールは定期的に車検を義務付けている国ですが、国内のインフラ整備が十分ではなく、日本のように車検を実行できる態勢にはなっていません。車検関連の法体系、車両検査場、検査員、整備工場、整備員、パーツなどの物流態勢等が未整備の状況です。同国では車両が唯一の交通・物流手段ですが、経年劣化した中古車も多いため車検整備を効果的に行い、整備不良に起因する悲惨な交通事故を少しでも減らす必要があります。
このため、外務省の無償資金援助の支援をいただき、東ティモールの自動車検査員養成事業を実施しました。（2016年開始、2018年終了）
Automobile Inspection Training
Current situation of the automobile inspection in East Timor
In the world, there are various automobile inspection systems, while some countries have none of them at all. East Timor is a country that obliges regular vehicle inspection, but domestic infrastructure development is not enough and it is not in a position to carry out automobile inspection like in Japan. Legal systems related to automobile inspection, inspection place, maintenance factory and inspector are not yet maintained. And the vehicle is the only means of transportation and logistics in the country, it is necessary to reduce the miserable traffic accidents caused by improper maintenance.
For this reason, we are supporting the training of auto inspectors in East Timor for the support of Grant Aid by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
2016年教育施設建設、2017年及び2018年検査員養成

| 検査員の勉学、実習の拠点となる簡易整備・点検修理施設を建設し、9月に竣工しました。また、9月から1か月間にわたり基礎教育を行い、第2期からの本格的な検査員養成の準備を完了しました。 | 2017年3月1日に第2期事業の署名式を行い、5月から教育開始（前期教育）現地のニーズや状況を勘案しつつ、自動車検査員に必要な技術レベル（二級）を目標値と定め、又、日本の車検制度を教える事により、現地での制度普及等に大きく貢献し、2018年1月をもって終了しました。 | 第3期は検査員養成（後期教育）を実施、カー・エレクトロニクス等最新の車両検査に必要な実習を行い、2018年12月をもって無事、３ｹ年に渡る自動車検査員養成事業を終了しました。 |
